The Venue

South Australia is a small to medium size city of about 1 million people, the Adelaide Convention Centre, home of the World Education Forum 2008, is in the middle of the city with over 15 major leading Hotels in walking distance to the Convention Centre. Adelaide is known as the 5 minute city as it takes only 5 minutes to get anywhere! Click on the map to give you an easy view of the city hotels and venues.

We have planned the Forum to close on Saturday afternoon to allow delegates and friends to consider the option of having a weekend break after the Conference in our City. Perhaps a visit to the Premium Wine districts of Australia, such as the Barossa Valley, Clare Valley or the McLaren Vale might be to your liking, if not the beach areas of Glenelg have great holiday packages.
